Jonroy Design Studio is a registered architectural practice established in January 2008 by Leroy Arendse as a response to market demands in the building industry in Kimberley. The firm provides full Architectural and Principal Agency services. We provide theoretical, technical, logistical and administrative support to private and public organisations such as Municipalities, National Government Departments and Community Development Projects.

As a small firm, we have sought to strengthen our position by forming associations with other established firms & individuals, to place ourselves in a competitive and sustainable position, whilst ensuring quality service and prompt delivery. All projects are unique in their own rights, and in order to
ensure each project’s needs are met, strong associations are formed with professionals in order to provide quality service within the project frameworks.

Today, Jonroy Design Studio is proudly an independent firm which is owner run. Thus ensuring close client relations, continuity and most importantly, a passionate driven project. Jonroy Design Studio strives to provide good quality design that is well delivered through specialist technical detailing, construction
documentation and project administration.

Jonroy Design Studio is a BBBEE, Level 1 certified company and is registered with all relevant professional bodies, including the South African Council for the Architectural Profession [SACAP], South African Institute of Architectural Technology [SAIAT], the Cape Institute for Architects [CIfA] and the Association for Heritage Practitioners.

Leroy Arendse is a member of SAIAT National Committee, the Regional Chairperson for SAIAT Northern Cape and the Chapter Chairperson of their Kimberley Chapter.
